The special issue brings together contributions that offer new perspectives on the (morpho)syntax of Thuringian while situating it within current research in syntactic theory, variationist linguistics, and historical linguistics - not only with regard to Thuringian itself, but also to adjacent dialect areas such as East Franconian and Bavarian.
